About the Role:

Kariera Group recruitment services are actively seeking an Engineering Consultant to join our Client, a leading International Aluminium Manufacturing company. The role is not just to join their UK division and help support and drive regional project sales, but also to contribute to our mission of aligning skilled professionals with forward-thinking companies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

An engineering consultant aims to develop a relationship of trust and collaboration with project decision influencers such as architects, consultants, engineering companies, and developers to actively promote our clients' systems for their projects through their specifications and increase sales.

The principal goal is to identify and support new and existing project stakeholders. Acting as consultants on behalf of the company and to provide technical support for projects, offering technical solutions and construction capabilities

 

  • Assist all project stakeholders in identifying the best project solutions with visits.
  • You will visit customers to offer technical support on operating our Client’s systems and update them on product upgrades and improvements.
  • Contribute to sales and profit growth by bringing new projects to the company.
  • Specify our Client's systems for regional projects.
  • Classify the clientele based on the importance of each Client and identify the key accounts.
  • Engage with our Client's commercial team and provide all the relevant information about the projects and processes necessary for successful implementation in each area.
  • Facilitate technical coordination between headquarters and the project stakeholders to meet their needs and facilitate the technical implementation of their projects.
  • Invite and host project stakeholders in the headquarters for guided tours
  • Cooperate with Product Managers to develop new solutions/systems based on market needs.
  • Track and identify local competition in the area of responsibility.
  • Facilitate engineers' visits (key account engineers and affiliate executives) for guided tours, presentations, and technical training.
  • Monitor the competitors' systems for qualitative and quantitative performance indicators at bi-annual intervals and record our Client's competitive advantages and weaknesses.
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM with all necessary daily information.
  • Participate actively in the certification process of our Client's systems by local and national authorities.
  • Prepare and conduct technical presentations.
  • Participation in the sector's exhibitions and fairs
  • Project site visits where our Client's systems are installed to promote and defend the company's interests.
  • Follow regional industry standards and building regulations & specifications.
  • Periodic visit to the headquarters for training and reporting purposes

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to represent the company, products and services to project stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand the customers' needs till they are fully met with the company's extended product range and solutions
  • Ability to facilitate technical meetings and responses to the network
  • Ability to be communicative, with a high sense of orderliness.
  • Work under pressure.
  • Desirable prior knowledge of aluminium architectural systems
  • Desirable job experience at one of the sector's companies and sales companies.
  • Desirable experience within an organized sales department of a company.
  • Degree in Engineering
  • Excellent use of the English language
  • Excellent knowledge of AUTOCAD (2D and 3D) software, MS Office
