Your role and responsibilities

ABB Electrification business is looking for a Business Consultant/Project Manager to drive strategic product material compliance projects with special focus on conflict minerals and responsible sourcing to support our expanding global businesses. This role will include interacting with and influencing a variety of internal and external stakeholders including R&D, Product management, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Legal, Sales and other partners. This position requires an individual with excellent analytical skills. The work model for the role is #LI - Onsite/Hybrid. This role is contributing to Our Electrification Business. You will be mainly accountable for: • Implement, and manage the conflict minerals and responsible sourcing compliance project. • Coordinate with cross functional teams to develop and implement the material compliance processes and projects against regulatory requirements and internal policies • Provide support for suppliers and track performance of compliance service providers • Track progress and prepare reports in Power BI of each division, manufacturing plant, product group, etc. to ensure no one is lacking behind. • Develop and maintain internal and business-facing guidance and resources for material compliance regulations.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Chemistry, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business consulting, regulatory compliance, preferably with a focus on conflict minerals and material compliance.
• Knowledge of conflict minerals regulations (Dodd-Frank Act Section 1502), responsible sourc-ing and other material compliance standards (RoHS, REACH, PFAS, EU WFD, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
