Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for Motion Canada, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by coordinating the efforts of all necessary local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance and ensuring that the necessary certification requirements are met throughout the organization. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion Business in Canada. You will be mainly accountable for: • In collaboration with the HSE & Quality Director, Drive the deployment of strategy and objectives for a quality management system within local ABB organizational unit. • Implement short, medium- and long-term strategy, activities, and planning to develop the quality management system, based on identified risks and opportunities, in collaboration and agreement with the local management team. • Assist the Business in mapping its end-to-end value chain processes • Supports and maintains the quality management system, in collaboration with local functions to ensure flawless and repeatable process execution, identifying gaps, and exploring opportunities for improvement. • Support process owners for defined quality-related processes, systems, or tools, including defining and documenting plans, implementing and communicating actions, supervising and controlling progress • Performs audits to assess compliance with the defined systems or standards. • Supports the local organization by creating training material and delivering trainings on quality management system-related content.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field of expertise required.
- You have a minimum of 5- 8 years of experience in quality management or a related field, preferably with experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001.
- Collaborative, solution-oriented approach, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Continuous Improvement experience with proven record of practical application of lean six sigma tools preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and French. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
