About the Job
The Selected Candidate functionally reports to Head of Quality / Home office Site Quality coordinator .
At project level, the candidate shall report to the Project Quality Manager/Director or to the Project Director directly at site.
Selected candidate acts to ensure the implementation of QC system at Site during the execution of construction works.
Job duties include:

The Site Quality Manager shall prepare a periodical Site Quality report summarizing activities and results. Said report shall be distributed for information to the Construction & Integration Manager/Project Manager, Project Quality Manager and to relevant Home Office Departments (Construction, Quality, etc.).

About the Job
The Selected Candidate functionally reports to Head of Quality / Home office Site Quality coordinator .
At project level, the candidate shall report to the Project Quality Manager/Director or to the Project Director directly at site.
Selected candidate acts to ensure the implementation of QC system at Site during the execution of construction works.
Job duties include:
- Getting familiar with the Project, Engineering and Vendor specifications and requirements.
- Finalizing Site Quality organization and mobilization schedule in line with execution schedule.
- Finalizing/Reviewing Site Quality Plan, QCPs/ITPs and procedures and achieving client approvals.
- Early Liaising with Subcontractors for establishing Subcontractors Quality deliverables.
- Implementation of project procedures issued by Sub-contractors.
- ITP/QCP and test procedures, QC coordination procedure, Construction Quality Dossier mgmt., etc.
- ITP/QCP and relevant forms and reports provided by Subcontractor in line with Project minimum standards in terms of inspection/testing activities and format contents.
- Finalizing Quality plans and procedures.
- Construction QCP to the Discipline Supervisors and to the Inspectors.
- Maintaining close contact with Client to solicit and study Client comments and opinions on QC implementation and to assist the personnel to assemble, coordinate and issue necessary
- Obtaining Client input, evaluation and agreement on specified procedures and results.
- Advising on QC procedures, methods and practices/actions.
- Providing adjustments, when necessary, to QCP and QCF.
- Analyzing and reporting of the QC results.
- Checking the Construction Quality Control Report.
- Ensuring timely resolution of any QC problems encountered during construction.
- Ensuring the collection and filing of QCRs issued during the construction works and of any other document certifying the quality of the works in the Construction/Pre-commissioning Quality Dossier.
- Implementing the "Non-Conformity Report Procedure" at site.
- Assuring the feedback to HO QC Function for all Quality related problems.
- Coordinating the activities of quality inspectors.
- Training the site personnel on QC System at site.
- Supporting the QC inspector making him/her available mainly:
- General coordination input/management and commitment to operate on a defined working area/range of QC activity.
- Availability of appropriate operating tools necessary to inspect or to survey inspection and testing activity made by Subcontractor (e.g.: inspection coordination procedure, QCPs, QC procedures/method statement, codes/standards, local laws and regulation).
- LNG projects experience is a plus.
Reporting lines and interactions:
The Site Quality Manager shall prepare a periodical Site Quality report summarizing activities and results. Said report shall be distributed for information to the Construction & Integration Manager/Project Manager, Project Quality Manager and to relevant Home Office Departments (Construction, Quality, etc.).
Typical reports are:
- Weekly QC Coordination meeting report (with construction Subcontractors and Client)
- Monthly Site Quality Report, that includes also the KPIs status, and that can be included in Project / Construction Site periodical reports to Sponsors meetings.
Previous experiences:
- Experience in Quality Management (≥ 10 years)
- Experience as Yard/Site Quality Manager (≥ 8 years)
Proved competences/roles in:
- Yard/Site Quality team management on major project of energy sector
- Advanced experience within a formal Management System
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably with a specialization in Quality)
Certifications:
- Preferably owning the following certifications:
- ISO 9001 auditor
- Welding/NDT certification (CSWIP, AWS, SNT-TC, CND, IWS/E/T, etc.)
Spoken Languages:
- Mandatory languages:
- English (proficient level written/spoken)
- Preferably additional spoken languages:
- Spanish
IT Tools expected knowledge:
- Basic Microsoft Office pack
- Completion Management System database knowledge
- Previous experience with Easy Plant is a plus.
