JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain company quality system to meet API Specification Q1, ISO 9001, and external customers' specifications.
  • Develop and maintain Quality Management System documents (procedures, work instructions, forms, flowcharts).
  • Plan and perform Internal audits.
  • Plan and perform Supplier audits of new critical Arabian Rig Manufacturing suppliers and periodic audits of existing critical suppliers. Ensure all qualified suppliers can follow company's quality specifications.
  • Perform risk assessment with respect to changes in key personnel, organizational structure, critical suppliers, with a focus on quality and on-time delivery. Develop and control mitigation actions.
  • Perform QMS induction training of new employees and QMS trainings for different departments.
  • Control calibration status of testing, measuring, and monitoring equipment (TMME). Ensure all TMME is in a state of calibration.
  • Conduct periodic calibration or verification of all quality TMME.
  • Communicate with relevant departments on potential quality system issues that may lead to nonconformances if unattended.
  • Create corrective action reports, review root causes analysis, control implementation of actions, and verify effectiveness of actions taken.
  • Monitor KPIs and facility quality objectives & goals.
  • Deal with internal & external Customer`s feedback on quality issues.
  • Monitor and improve QMS processes. Identify improvement projects for business/facility.
  • Comply with HSE and Quality policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as may be required to support the business.


Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities:

Provide quality management system support to all Arabian Rig Manufacturing departments.

Education/Qualifications:

Graduate of a recognized university or technology institute with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Diploma (4 years regular) preferably in mechanical engineering.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in internal or supplier audits.
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in QA/ QC.


Key Competencies & Skills:

  • Experience in ISO 9001 and/or API Q1, & QMS management and development.
  • ISO 9001 internal or lead auditor certification.
  • API 4F, 16A, 8C knowledge (preferred).
  • Qualified Quality Management System Internal and Supplier auditor.
  • Experience in document management processes.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in quality Auditing.
  • Proficiency in MS applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint etc.).
  • Excellent Written and Oral Communications, Fluent in English.
