The Customer Service & Logistics Specialist will be responsible to ensure customer orders are fulfilled. The specialist will drive and execute the entire process from order entry, product delivery and invoicing, as well as the monitoring of the warehouse inventory levels.
The Specialist will support the setup of appropriate processes and procedures to support efficient order fulfillment; and will be supporting the setup of our ERP system.
The candidate must have good communications skills and working experience in the field of logistics, warehousing and customer service.
The role will be based in Dubai and the customer base will be mainly in the UAE and other GCC countries.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
The Customer Service & Logistics Specialist will be responsible for entering sales orders into the system upon receipt, organizing the necessary transportation and logistics, and confirming the order with the customer. Acting as the primary point of contact for customers regarding received orders, the specialist will provide the required documentation and manage invoice distribution. Close collaboration with the Sales Development Manager will be essential, and the specialist will monitor material availability based on sales forecasts to ensure fulfillment of forecasted demand.
Logistics:
This role requires the Customer Service & Logistics Specialist to organize the logistics for order fulfillment. The specialist will determine the best delivery options for customers, coordinate shipments, and ensure that all required documentation is prepared and sent with each shipment.
Warehousing & Inventory:
The Customer Service & Logistics Specialist will track inventory in the regional warehouse, overseeing the operational management of inbound products purchased from a third party.
Process & Procedures:
Leveraging expertise and experience, the Customer Service & Logistics Specialist will play a key role in establishing new processes and procedures to ensure seamless order fulfillment. The specialist will focus on building a digital, robust, and efficient supply chain. The specialist will be supporting the setup of our new Microsoft Dynamics ERP system.
This role requires a good customer focused mindset and experience in (plastics) logistics. Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years’ experience in customer service & logistics, preferably for plastic products.
- Practical working experience in the UAE and other GCC countries
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional way.
- Team player
- Good English language skills (speaking and writing) are essential.
- Entrepreneurial and agile mindset; ability to work in a fast-growing company where priorities could shift and ‘the way we do things’ still needs to be developed.
- Passion for sustainability and making this planet a better place for future generations.
Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree level
