Main Functions

• Assists in delivering items to customers by verifying orders, inventorying stock and arranging transportation.
• Anticipates delivery requirements.
• Places and expedites orders.
• Verifies items shipped by matching bills of lading and reconciles quantities while noting any discrepancies.
• Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status as well as answers questions.
• Works with limited work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.

Skills and Qualifications

• Prior shipping/receiving experience
• Warehouse or manufacturing experience
• Attention to detail
