Logistics / WarehouseThe Sr. Logistics Analyst is responsible for optimizing logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement of materials and equipment, and analyzing supply chain performance to support business objectives. The Senior Logistics Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
A successful candidate must possess a detailed understanding of upstream Oil and Gas sand and logistics categories, with experience in identifying and executing sustainable opportunities for value creation (cost savings, cost avoidance, revenue enhancement) and risk reduction.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate logistics operations, including transportation to and from job sites.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain reports on key logistics KPIs, including cost, service levels, and efficiency.
- Build and maintain relationships with logistics service providers and vendors. Negotiate contracts and manage service level agreements (SLAs) to achieve high performance standards.
- Work closely with the operations, supply chain, finance, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) teams to align logistics strategy with overall business goals and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3-7 years of upstream oil and gas logistics management
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in leading or supporting logistics-related projects or process improvement initiatives.
- Self-starter with a track record of strategic initiative development and management
