Job Accountabilities:
Senior Lead (Maintenance) exhibit good, supervisory and safety behaviours and will specifically ensure that all aspects of topside, Turret & Subsea Control Systems, engine room operation, process utility systems related maintenance are carried out safely, through careful delegation and control of responsibilities. Act as the focal point for external communication related to role, from offshore facility and ensure co-ordination among multi-discipline team. Officiate role of Maintenance Manager as per instructions or guidelines.
Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, company policies and procedures and display thorough knowledge in industry standards and recommended practices. Ensures, highest level of system reliability and availability and resource optimization to the maximum potential including personnel, equipment, multi-support vessels and services. Undertake all the planned maintenance activities and ensure implementation of approved modifications for FPSO assets
- Plan and coordinate with the leads of all production and maintenance activities including Management of safety critical elements so as to ensure uninterrupted operations and achieve production targets.
- Maintenance Philosophy: Implement 3P maintenance and update in SAP. Reviews task lists periodically and proposes amendments. Reviews all routine and special nature and allocate resources to perform maintenance activities. Improve in line with applicable KPIs.
- Takes lead in maintenance related activities of Turret and subsea control systems. Maintains communication with OEM/Vendor and Class surveyor for periodical checks and planning corrective actions
- Ensure implementation of the Company Safety Management System, i.e. compliance with legislation, company policies, standards and procedures and monitoring compliance by all other personnel. Implement Permit to Work System and management of installation safety issues during SIMOPS.
- Prepare plans for equipment strategies, reliability, availability and maintainability and work toward continual improvement.
- Demonstrate working knowledge in topside, marine, Hull, structural equipment for degradation mechanism and preventive / corrective actions. Involve in analysis, advice, troubleshooting, start-up/shutdown of Rotating equipment. Work closely with OEMs and associate vendors for equipment availability and reliability.
- Subsea Interventions support:
- Co-ordinate during subsea intervention activities for maintenance related requirement at FPSO
- Material Management: Reviews Bill of Material and Spares required for procurement action and Initiate action for PR generation. Technical recommendation, suitable vendor lists and submit to Procurement. Issue clearance to received material after material inspection as per specifications.
- Reviews Risk Assessment / JSA for Critical Maintenance Activities; Implements PTW systems in maintenance activities; Reviews SOPs and SMPs prepared by Maintenance team as scheduled; Reviews MOC (Management of Change) proposals from discipline engineers and supports the implementation.
- Prepare Systems for start-up, monitor, shutdown and isolate as and when required.
- Participate in regular Emergency Response Drills and ensure on board personnel are briefed about their role during emergency.
- Identify and halt unplanned discharges and report immediately. Equipment waste or other materials for disposal are dealt with according to the correct procedure. Monitor and Maintain Pollution Control Measures.
- Facilitate implementation of corrective actions for audit observation, incident closeout recommendation and inspection / RCA recommendations.
- Preparation ARCs, AMC and monitoring of budget of operation, maintenance and future requirements and maintain optimum inventory for smooth operation.
- Liaise with relevant department heads to improve information sharing, efficiency of planning and scheduling of activities.
- Maintain effective cost control and promote cost awareness in others. Also work with contractors as and when required.
- Promote team building, training and development to ensure that the Company competence Assurance System is progressed.
Skills & Competencies:
- Management of major emergency (OPITO standard)
- MSV Operation; Subsea intervention
- Effective contract management of OEMs / Vendors
- Understanding of Electrical, mechanical, Control, FGS, ESD and DCS systems & instrumentation systems.
- Supervisory experience of Permit to Work and Risk Assessment
- Meticulous, flexible, versatile, determined and capable of assertive and positive communication and performance
- SAP, Process engineering, Process safety, equipment troubleshooting and maintenance aspects.
- Thorough knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities, offshore, Oil & Gas production equipment
Education Required:
- Degree (Mech / Electrical branch) Engineering from a recognised university
Experience Required:
- 20 year Overall experience - Supervisory work experience in Offshore field of oil & gas industry; Gas processing and transportation; Process control; Management of safety critical elements; Management of emergency situation at offshore platform.
- 10 Year Specific experience - Knowledge and work experience in Operation & maintenance of subsea oil & gas field equipment and assets.
