Major Responsibilities:

• Learn daily gas compressor and compressor facility operations. Good housekeeping.
• Handle on call duties, drive company vehicle to locations.
• Work is performed in learning mode. Learns appropriate tools to use, identify, diagnose and repair/replace equipment. Basic trouble shooting.
• Maintain up-to-date reporting of facility operations and be responsible for all the aspects required for the JBPE.
• Daily interaction with Foremen, Compressor Operators, Mechanics, Lease Operators. Occasionally works side-by-side with contractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor, to include special projects.
• Technological efficiency

 
Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Prior Compressor gas lift operations preferred. Mechanical or oilfield related experience required - 2.5 yrs. preferred
• Prior mechanical and/or oil field experience.
• A current valid vehicle operator’s license with an insurable driving record is required.

1 year contract compressor operator I, 2, or 3 Associated PR: 1: 36-38 2: 47-49 3: 60-64
 
10 days on 4 off with 9 hour days. 90 per hitch.
