Role Overview

As a Mechanical Technical Advisor, you will provide expert support for the mechanical systems of Siemens V94.2 gas turbines. You will oversee inspection, maintenance, overhaul, and reassembly activities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical inspection, maintenance, and overhaul of Siemens V94.2 gas turbines, including rotors, casings, bearings, and auxiliary systems.
• Supervise dismantling, reassembly, and alignment of critical turbine components.
• Assess component condition, recommend repair or replacement, and oversee quality control during all mechanical works.
• Liaise with clients to provide technical recommendations and adapt work scopes to emergent findings.
• Prepare and finalize all mechanical project documentation, including inspection reports and recommended spares lists.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with heavy-duty gas turbines (preferably Siemens V94.2) in a field service or technical advisory role.
• Expertise in turbine dismantling, inspection, repair, reassembly, and commissioning.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in technical documentation and reporting.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in field environments.
