Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Marine Operations Coordinator to join our team for a challenging and rewarding expatriate position in the Oil and Gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing marine operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and compliance with international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate marine operations for offshore projects, including seismic surveys, vessel mobilization, and offshore support.
• Oversee the operations of various marine vessels such as tugs, barges, and seismic vessels.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations (ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL).
• Conduct vessel inspections, audits, and surveys (OVID, MWS, CMID).
• Develop and implement safety and quality management systems.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vessel owners, and crews to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including risk assessments, mobilization plans, and emergency response plans.
• Monitor project budgets, operational costs, and prepare monthly reports.
• Handle vessel insurance renewals and manage claims.
• Facilitate good communication with all stakeholders, including clients, agents, and suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Marine Survey, Maritime & Transportation, or related field.
• Extensive experience in marine operations, particularly in the Oil and Gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of seismic project management and offshore support vessel operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with international maritime regulations and standards.
• Willingness to travel and work independently in challenging environments.
