Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Site Inspector to join our offshore team. The successful candidate will be responsible for front-line expertise in inspection, quality control, and continuous platform surveys. This role will act as the focal point for all site inspection matters, government bodies, and contracted activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform first-level inspection, QC for repairs, modifications, new installations, and continuous platform surveys (inspection rounds, visual inspections, periodic measurements, corrosion monitoring, etc.).
  • Serve as the focal point for all Site Inspection matters, including visits, NDT, recertification, and material selection.
  • Liaise with government bodies and QC audits (e.g., DWEA audits, DNV SECE verification).
  • Oversee inspection-related contracted activities, including buffing, painting, needling, welding, PSV recertification, pressure tests, and internal inspections.
  • Ensure all equipment is included in an inspection program and execute the programs prepared by onshore teams.
  • Identify findings, recommend mitigation and remediation plans, and contribute to the assessment and prioritization of findings.
  • Monitor temporary repairs and dead legs from an integrity perspective.
  • Ensure that repairs, modifications, and procurement of equipment comply with regulations, company rules, OSP, technical codes, and norms.
  • Maintain and update the Inspection Dossier (MAOP, pipeline thickness, metallurgy, etc.).
Qualifications & Experience:
  • BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, with a specialization in Inspection and Corrosion.
  • Right to work in the EU required 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in inspection within the Oil & Gas Industry or Chemical Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodology and familiarity with UNISUP/SAP (CIMS).
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to organize, lead, and motivate teams from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
  • Strong focus on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Mandatory Certifications:
  • BOSIET & H2S offshore certification (must be valid and up to date).
