Turbo Machinery Specialist- Myanmar
CCL Global is seeking for a TurboMachinery specilaist to be based in Yangon, Myanmar on a 12/2 weeks rotation.
- Personal Attributes, Education & Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Turbomachinery Engineering. or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance and operations within the oil and gas industry, particularly in mechanical or rotating equipment roles.
- Have at least 8 years' experience in 'BH (Baker Hughes) / GE (General Electric) LM2500+ or PGT25+ G4' and at
- least 15 years' experience in rotating equipment (especially in operation and maintenance business) in mandatory.
- Deep knowledge in Quality Control Process of Gas Turbine Repair and Manufacturing Process is required.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying solutions and driving improvements.
- Computer literacy.
- Proficiency with SAP for maintenance management and inventory control.
- Fluent in English (written and oral).
- Position Recommended Experience & Skills
- Experience in working with The Alternative of OEM service provider is beneficial.
- In-depth technical knowledge of gas turbine packages and related systems.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships, preparing technical evaluations, and overseeing project execution.
- Experience and knowledge in all aspects of test, commissioning, operation&maintenance, trouble-shooting and refurbishment of gas turbine are beneficial Investigation and fault finding skills.

- Position Responsibilities
- Monitor daily operations of gas turbine packages and proactively mitigate equipment degradation.
- Collaborate closely with offshore teams to operation & maintain the packages and ensure smooth operations
- Ensure all maintenance activities align with POSCO International maintenance philosophy and comply with international standards.
- Drive initiatives to mitigate systemic equipment issues, including suggesting and implementing Management of Change (MOC) actions.
- Participate in root cause analyses (RCA) and incident investigations to improve reliability.
- Provide support in coordinating with vendor and managing repair plans for equipment breakdowns.
- Develop scope of work for long term service agreements with OEMs & non-OEM service providers to ensure that the quality of repairs / overhauls are in line with the agreed standards.
- Research improvements in operation and maintenance of turbomachinery.
- Provide reports for assigneed equipment to team leader (Turbo TA)
