Occupational Safety & Health Officer

Job Summary:

The Occupational Safety & Health Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant workplace by implementing and monitoring health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety among employees.

NEBOSH certification is mandatory.

Must have EPC- Oil and Gas (Offshore Pipeline) Experience.
Must communicate in Chinese and English Language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international occupational safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
  • Develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs.
  • Monitor workplace conditions and recommend safety improvements.
  • Report and document workplace hazards, near misses, and accidents.
  • Assist in emergency response planning and drills.
  • Coordinate with management and employees to promote a safety-first culture.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum [X] years of experience in health and safety roles, preferably in [industry].
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk management practices.
