Location: Qatar onshore, Ras Laffan/Doha

Are you an experienced professional in the offshore oil and gas industry with a passion for training and development? We are seeking a highly skilled Offshore Instructor to design, develop, and deliver competency-based training courses that enhance workforce skills and operational excellence.

Job Purpose:
As an Offshore Instructor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs, assessments, and workplace learning materials. You will play a key role in ensuring employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deliver advanced-level theoretical and practical training using various learning methodologies.
  • Conduct competency assessments and provide feedback for skill development.
  • Analyze knowledge and skills gaps, aligning training programs with operational needs.
  • Develop and maintain simulator training modules and workplace competency assessments.
  • Collaborate with line supervisors and training coordinators to ensure training effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate trainee records, including attendance and assessment results.
  • Provide recommendations for training improvements based on feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Contribute to the professional development of Qatari employees as part of the Qatarization Program.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior work in the offshore oil and gas industry, including experience as an instructor.
  • Strong knowledge of plant processes, production equipment, and DCS process control systems.
  • Experience in procedure development, analysis, and operations & maintenance.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems.
  • Proven ability to conduct engaging training sessions and assessments.
  • Ability to develop operational process scenarios and modify lesson plans effectively.
