During Engineering / Preparation Phase or Multi-Support Activities:

Liaise with Certification Bodies and international authorities to organize inspections and maintain valid unit certifications.

Collect operational data and reports to support the preparation of maintenance budgets and investment plans for marine equipment.

Prepare and issue technical documentation: detailed method statements, work instructions, risk assessments, root cause analysis (RCA), and technical dossiers.

Identify opportunities for operational and maintenance improvements; implement best practices to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Coordinate vendor and subcontractor mobilization in collaboration with the Operations Coordinator.

Develop Scopes of Work (SoW) for refurbishment, repair, and non-routine activities.
-
Support Maintenance Engineering in developing comprehensive strategies for marine equipment.
-
Maintain accurate technical records, procedures, and reports.
-
Prepare and present project status updates, technical issue reports, and performance metrics.
-
Oversee procurement processes: define specifications, SoW, technical bid evaluations (TBE), and post-order follow-up.

Develop Work Packs for non-routine tasks outside of planned preventive maintenance.

Contribute to maintenance and inspection planning for EPC projects, in cooperation with the Lead Maintenance Engineer.

Ensure reliability and high-quality deliverables are provided to the offshore team for handover.

Provide backup and coordination support for vendor mobilizations.
-
Execute specific project assignments as directed by the Technical Manager.

Analyze Safety and Environment Critical Elements (SECE) status using systems such as SIIRT and AMOS.

Coordinate vendor/subcontractor assistance (remote or offshore), define scope, plan activities, manage budgets, and close related dossiers.
During Operational Phase (in addition to above):

Update CMMS databases with current maintenance and inspection data.

Improve planning and execution by ensuring timely availability of vendors, tools, and materials.

Coordinate and supervise repair works, including both routine and emergency interventions, in collaboration with HQ and Procurement.

Support vessel management in implementing maintenance and resolving technical issues, staying within budget constraints.

Ensure effective execution of the Maintenance Plan as part of onshore support.

Attend departmental meetings to help prioritize offshore site requests.

Engage closely with offshore teams to ensure alignment on work order execution.
Profile Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Naval or Marine Engineering (or equivalent).
-
Experience: 10+ years of experience, preferably in offshore oil & gas marine operations.
