Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise for the design, selection, specification, and maintenance of static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping, etc.)
Review and approve engineering deliverables such as datasheets, drawings, and technical reports
Perform fitness-for-service assessments, RBI (Risk-Based Inspection) support, and root cause failure analysis (RCFA)
Interface with design contractors, fabricators, and vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
Lead and support HAZOPs, HAZIDs, and technical safety reviews related to mechanical equipment
Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO, DNV, and client-specific standards
Support maintenance and inspection teams in troubleshooting static equipment issues offshore
Participate in offshore surveys, audits, and site support during construction and commissioning
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

Minimum 18 years of relevant experience in oil & gas, with at least 7 years in offshore operations

In-depth knowledge of design, operation, and maintenance of static equipment

Familiar with international standards (e.g., ASME VIII, API 650/653, API 579, ISO 14692)

Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms and mitigation in offshore environments

Experience in digital inspection tools, asset integrity systems, and maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo) is an advantage

Offshore survival and medical certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET) as required
