Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist health and safety advice across the organisation, with a focus on occupational hygiene and safety.
- Support incident reporting and investigations; assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Promote safe work practices via permit to work systems, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and LMRA.
- Maintain and manage the hazardous materials register and calculate safety exposure limits.
- Coordinate occupational health monitoring and act as the focal point for offshore medical teams.
- Drive compliance with safety standards and champion the company’s Life Saving Rules.
- Contribute to safety campaigns and support a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor compliance with health surveillance plans (e.g., noise, dust, mercury, benzene).
- Conduct inspections to ensure safety standards are consistently applied.
- MVK/HVK certified, with Arbeidshygienist (AH) qualifications desirable.
- At least 5 years’ experience in occupational HSE within oil and gas operations.
- Proficient with hazardous material management systems (e.g., Stoffenmanager).
- Experienced in incident investigation methodologies (e.g., COMET, TOPSET, Tripod).
- Deep understanding of Dutch HSE legislation and occupational health monitoring systems.
- Strong communication, coaching, and team collaboration skills.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English is essential.
