ACCOUNTABILITIES
The job holder is accountable for the following activities during project executionby Major Project Division: To ensure that Contractor is following the technical requirements for AUT and NDT (MUT/MT) activities foroffshore pipe-line laying.
To perform AUT Supervision and Witnessing on real time by CTR slave monitor as per defined Quality Controlplan.
To implement the NOC Technical Referential and applicable local and international codes.
To establish and implement theProject verification strategy in line with Regulations and NOC requirements
JOBDIMENSIONS
The scopes for the current RUYA Batch 1 as part of Al Shaheen Ruya project comprise of the following:
Nine (9) new satellite WellheadPlatforms (WHPs).
One (1) Riser Platform (BH) whichwill be bridge linked to existing BE Platform and shall accommodate all risersand J tubes from nine (9) WHPs.
One (1) Central Processing PlatformBJ to be bridge linked to the new Riser Platform (BH).
One (1) Flare Tripod (BK) connectedto new Central Processing Platform (CPP) (BJ).
Intra-field subsea pipelines andintra-field cables (subsea power/ICSS fibre optic)- EPCI09 Package.
Brownfield activities and tie-ins toexisting networks at B Location.
Brownfield activities and tie-ins atexisting networks at E location.
Package includes detailed engineering, procurement, supply, construction,load-out, sea fastening, transportation, installation, and pre-commissioning atSITE of forty (40) pipelines [38 pipelines and 9 subsea composite cables underRuya Batch 1 and 2 End of Life (EOL)] pipelines if executed as an optionintegrated into the Al-Shaheen existing facilities.
The AUT Supervisor is responsible for quality control activities linked toAUT (Multi zonal discrimination UT technique) and NDT in general, during theoffshore pipe laying welding.
ACTIVITIES
To promote & comply withapplicable safety instructions and other COMPANY HSE procedures in allactivities.
To carry out work in compliance withCOMPANY values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed COMPANYpriorities and objectives, COMPANY standards and procedures and good industrypractices. To treat all information obtainedduring course of the work with confidentiality.
To supervise, when applicableconventional NDT technic if needed (MT/MUT).
Follow up the AUT activities andinsure proper records (AUT and NDT/inspection records follow-up).
Witnessing all AUT Data’s in parallelwith CTR interpretation by Slave monitor interface.
Review and approve the AUT and/orreports issued by the Contractor on a shift basis.
Participate in the issuance orresolution of Non-Conformance reports.
Troubleshoot technical problems thatmay affect AUT/NDT pipe-laying.
Identify the critical AUT issues andbottleneck for the progress of pipelaying activities related to AUT/NDT. Anticipate; propose solutions to improve productivity.
Implement continual improvementprocesses, (Reporting, KPI, Lessons Learned, Close Out Report).
Issue flash report to project on adaily basis by CTR file follow up
QUALIFICATIONS& EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Qualification:
NDT qualification as per ISO 9712:2012 Level 2 (PCN, COFREND, CSWIP).
Certified operator level 2 (level 3 appreciated) for UT (all jointconfigurations).
MUT/TOFD experiences or certification on Pipeline Installation.
AUT experience on Carbon steel line pipes mandatory. (Muti-zonal discriminationUT technique)
Capable to perform MUT techniques.
Professional Experience (number ofyears): Around 10 years of experience associated to pipeline AUT Principles ofzonal discrimination inspection for pipeline laying.
A good knowledge of NOC Standards andInternational codes/standards related to pipeline (API 1104).
Good leadership skills and goodcommunication skills.
Ability to work on projects in acomplex and multicultural environment.
Be skilled in using computer programsfor word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-mailcommunications.
Be skilled with different AUTanalysis Software (Pipe Wizard, Rotoscan)
