We are looking to recruit a HVAC Engineer for a 9 month contract, based in Leatherhead, Surrey.
On Offer
- Competitive hourly pay rate
- Outside IR35, highly likely so engagement via a Ltd Co. permitted
- Hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Purpose of the Role
Responsible for the design, specification, selection, vendor drawing reviews, and testing services relating to offshore oil and gas equipment including: HVAC equipment, including air handling and ductwork design.
Experience
The required competency and skills would typically have been built up working for a consultant engineering company, equipment fabricator, machinery manufacturer or end user company.
Potential candidates would be expected to have a varied and extensive experience of mechanical equipment applications in the onshore and offshore oil and gas project environment to include concept, front end engineering design and detailed design,
Responsibilities
- Required offshore HVAC experience in the petrochemical industry.
- Previous experience working as a lead HVAC, leading a team on FEED or EPC.
- Specialist and detailed knowledge of air handling equipment and ductwork designs including the skills to
- prepare and review philosophies and specifications, D&IDs,
- air flow diagrams
- equipment sizing calculations; 2D layouts; 3D CAD models;
- HAZOP scenarios.
- Working knowledge of industry standards for HVAC equipment is required.
