Reporting To: Company's Mechanical Rotating Supervisor

 

Job Description

 

Coordinates and execute, under minimum supervision of Rotating Maintenance Supervisor in agreement with the Company Policies and HSE regulation, the following tasks:

 

Ability to safe and effectively operate a variety and Multiple tool machines in workshop to support maintenance activities in Sabratha Platform 

 

Proficient in the accurate measurement of materials use all kind of measuring instruments and tools

 

Fabricate spare parts required for maintenance activity using as per sample or dedicated drawings or sketches.

 

Adjust or recondition a damaged item using machining tool like lathe, milling machine, grinder, band saw etc.

 

Able to read technical documentation and prepare drawing for parts requested to fabricate or repair.

 

Strong knowledge and operating machines, tools, including design of machines, repair and maintenance required keep equipment in perfect operation conditions.

 

Set up machines, calibrate, cleaning and maintain the equipment in perfect working condition. Excellent hands on to use measuring tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)

 

Ability to repair, recondition the used cutting tools and restore geometrical working shapes

 

Participate on a working team where is need expertise and fabrication, or recondition on place  

 

 

Education and Training Level

 

High school diploma or equivalent as tool operator; technical degree is a plus

 Good knowledge in English in writing and communication

MAXIMO training is a plus.

 

Required Experience

 

5+ years and proven experience in the workshop with oil& gas field as machine operator

Posses' strong manual dexterity for intricate tasks

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions

Experience in troubleshooting tool malfunctions and malfunctions of the product

Understanding of quality control systems and processes

Familiarity with safety company protocols and procedures

Attention to detail and analytical skills

Expertise in troubleshooting and finding solution for any work request

Ability to work in a team environment
