Main function of the job: -

 Responsible for oversee and manage all aspects of well services operations from planning to execution, ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulations, budget and project timelines. Develop comprehensive well services programs and follow up on a daily basis any completion, work over, testing or well servicing activities conducted in the onshore or offshore oil fields.

Duties and Responsibilities: -

• Review and approve completion/stimulation/testing/cleanup and WO programs prepared by completion engineer.
• Evaluate operational performances, studies, proposes and implement solutions in view of their improvement.
• Validate the daily well servicing / completion and WO reports and all other required standard technical report as well as review weekly, monthly and annual reports related to these activities.
• Analyse failures or problems and recommend changes in program.
• Anticipate potential problems and plan alternative strategies.
• Liaise and coordinate with drilling coordinator, drilling Supervisors and engineers during completion well servicing and clean up phase.
• Review the HSE audits organized by HSE coordinator to ensure the operations are carried out efficiently according to HSE rules and best practices.
• Perform specific studies related to future phase development such as artificial gas lift subsea equipment for offshore, stimulation and re-entry techniques for onshore and offshore wells.
• Review and improve technical specifications of completion, well servicing, well testing and WO equipment to be used as well as keep abreast of new techniques with manufacturers and services companies.
• Evaluate WO contractors, services companies’ performance and renewal the services contacts.
• Supervisor preparation and ensures the updating of the standing instructions (SDI) related to well servicing and WO operations and prepare the implementation of the procedures for a specific equipment.
• Review and approve proposed annual well services budget.
• Anticipate needs for equipment (LLIs) and apply QA/QC.
• Ensures technical and HSE local staff training programs are prepared and implemented.

Qualification & Experience: -

• Education: - B.Sc. Petroleum engineering.
• Experience: - Minimum 15 years in oil and gas industry including drilling engineering, site drilling activities, modelling techniques, wells services operations, API rules and using softwares such as Landmark, pipe sim and prosper design.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation and technical analytical skills.
• Computer skills MS office
