NES Fircroft is looking to hire as two Artificial Lift Specialist with the below role and reasonability’s. 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Artificial Lift Specialist with a strong background in Rod Lift systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, optimization, and troubleshooting of rod pump systems, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), surface and downhole equipment, and dynacard interpretation. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, analytical ability, and a commitment to customer satisfaction and safety excellence.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the installation and commissioning of Rod Lift equipment, including surface and subsurface components.
  • Configure and program VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) to optimize motor performance and pump efficiency.
  • Analyse and interpret dynacards to identify well performance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform system optimization to ensure maximum production efficiency, reliability, and equipment longevity.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system failures, both electrical and mechanical, with minimal supervision.
  • Interface with engineering and production teams to design optimal lift solutions based on well conditions.
  • Provide on-site technical support and training to clients and junior field personnel.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including service reports, optimization logs, and equipment settings.
  • Adhere to Weatherford’s safety standards and ensure compliance with client HSE requirements.
  
Qualifications:
  • Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Rod Lift systems, including field installation and optimization.
  • Proven expertise in VFD programming, configuration, and tuning for artificial lift systems.
  • Strong ability to interpret dynacards and conduct in-depth well performance analysis.
  • Solid understanding of rod string design, pump sizing, and failure analysis.
  • Proficient in industry software such as XROD, RODSTAR, XSPOC, or similar tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work in field environments as required.
