Senior Construction Engineer(Rigging)
Key Responsibilities of a Construction Engineer-Rigging:

Developing detailed lift plans, including selecting appropriate equipment (cranes, hoists, etc.), calculating load capacities, and outlining safety procedures.

Choosing the correct rigging hardware (slings, shackles, etc.) and ensuring it is properly inspected and certified for use.

Ensuring all rigging operations adhere to safety regulations, including those related to load limits, rigging techniques, and personnel training.

Overseeing the execution of lifting operations, coordinating with other team members (crane operators, riggers, etc.), and resolving any technical issues that arise.

Preparing lift plans, method statements, and other relevant documentation, as well as reporting on the progress and safety of rigging operations.

Providing guidance and training to less experienced riggers and other personnel involved in rigging operations.
- Possessing in-depth knowledge of rigging principles, heavy lifting techniques, and relevant industry standards (ASME, OSHA, etc.).
- Identifying and resolving technical issues that arise during rigging operations, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of lifts.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in rigging and lifting operations, with a strong focus on oil & gas projects (onshore/offshore).
- In-depth knowledge of heavy lifting techniques, crane operations, rigging hardware, and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with international standards such as ASME, API, LOLER, and OSHA.
- Proficient in lift planning software and AutoCAD (preferred).
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
