RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE OF WORK:

• Report to the Structural Design Section Head;
• Act as the designer and checker of the Architecture design, and ensure the assigned task is completed within the stipulated time and meets quality requirement, ensure the correctness of the design document and meet the standard and clients’ specification requirements;
• Prepare detail and shop design drawings, bill of material and procedures, MN, ARN, DCR as required;
• Complete design work based on standard details & specification, code and standards;
• Prepare Architectural 3D Model, perform clash check, and inter-discipline check to ensure design consistency:
• Prepare discipline weight control data and assist Weight Control Engineer in completion of weight control report;
• Coordinate with Client, conduct technical clarification work, and identify the technical deviation;
• Technical supports for procurement including requisition preparation, technical bid evaluation (TBE), vendor documents review and approval, and clarify with vendor;
• Assist project cost control team, verify subcontractor's work quantity:
• Ensure all justifications for contractual variations during projects are maintained to support subsequent commercial claims related to Architectural work.
• Go to site to survey, investigate and solve technical problem, timely solve the issues raised during construction
• Attend training course to extend and improve design skill and ability, conduct training in basic Architecture course for newly hired architectural engineers;
• Assist proposal team during various project commercial bidding and prepare MTO, man-hours estimate, perform Technical Bid Evaluation, clarification, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Experienced in offshore and onshore Oil & Gas project, at least 10 years of working experience in Architectural design engineering.
• Familiar with Architectural rules and standards (SOLAS, DNV, NORSOK, ABS, CCS, )
• Thorough knowledge of Architectural materials and construction.
• Understanding of the roles and responsibilities of other disciplines on the project and key information interfaces with Structural, Piping, Mechanical equipment, E&I, HVAC, etc.
• Use of MS Office applications, AutoCAD, preferably in operating of E3D or PDMS;
• Oral and written communication in English.
