Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing EPC Contractor’s work in following:

• Welding consumables receipt, storage issues etc.
• Lifting Equipment’s proof load test and function test.
• Review and endorse base line survey related activities (inspection isometric drawings, piping systems list, reporting, certification etc.)
• Witness Procedure qualifications.
• Witness Welders qualifications.
• Monitor, inspect and approve all welding and NDT works.
• Monitor, review and approve all PWHT works.
• Review of all radiographs/NDT reports.
• Signing of weld / NDT log.
• Dimensional control checks.
• Any other related work activities.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Engineering/Degree in Mechanical, Welding or Metallurgical Engineering. Shall be certified Welding Inspector in accordance with CSWIP 3.2 or AWS and PCN level-II or equivalent is desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in theWelding Inspection, NDT review and Quality Control, out of which at least 5 years shall be in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Plant.
• Familiarity with welding codes ASME, ANSI, AWS, API, DNV and BS.
• Fluency in English.
