• Prepares Call for Tender for Purchase equipment & Services contracts which related Drilling operations.
• prepare Drilling work Program in term of design, select equipment, and estimate the costs of Purchase & Services for each well.
• Ensures administrative links between drilling department (each dedicated contract holder) and related services contracts.
• Ensures QA/QC of the engineering data stored.
• Prepares feasibility studies on future wells and new technologies.
• Coach & train Junior Drilling Engineers to write Drilling Program, prepare CFT packages, prepare AFE cost for the wells.
• Review End of Well Reports
• Establishes drilling benchmarks and follows up KPIs and ALIs
• Primary link to enter data or equivalent.
• In liaison with Corporate Planning, focuses on long terms projects and carries out risk assessment.
• Ensures the update of well profiles and engineering files in the Drilling Department Software
• Prepares drilling feasibility, T&D, hydraulics calculations for future ERD wells, or subsea wells.
• Focuses on knowledge management to capture experience gained on drilling (Mabruk and Al-Jurf)
• Represents new technologies.
• Prepares input for TCM & MCM presentations.
• Prepares all material for any workshop with the owners.
