Job Purpose

Provide with welding engineering support for North Field Expansion (NFXP) Offshore Project, ensuring technical requirements (e.g., project specifications, project materials, welding specifications, data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardised processes and to provide Functional Safety design support to NFXP pipeline engineering manager ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standards.

Qualifications

Minimum bachelors engineering degree/diploma in related fields

Knowledge and/or Experience

• 10+ years of relevant experience as materials / welding engineering lead, in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
• Experience working on subsea and onshore pipeline systems.

Technical and Business Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
• A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
• Good knowledge of materials, welding engineering, subsea, onshore pipeline, and mechanical equipment
