Responsibilities Field Service Engineers are required to install, service or repair turbomachinery equipment. The repair and installation duties are performed at client´s site situated onshore and/or offshore. Field Service Engineers the following responsibilities: • Installing / servicing turbomachinery equipment (gas turbine, gearbox, compressors, aux.) • Perform maintenance tasks and repairs on turbomachinery components, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards. This includes scheduled maintenance, routine servicing, and responding to emergency breakdowns. • Analyze and troubleshoot complex problems in turbomachinery systems. Identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions. • Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and service visits. Prepare comprehensive reports and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Report any significant findings or recommendations. • Willingness to travel extensively, both domestic and international, as required. Flexibility in working hours and working days to accommodate equipment maintenance plans and emergencies.Skill / Attributes The person will be representing the company during the site work. He/she must demonstrate good characteristics and professionalism. • Experience on Heavy Duty Gas Turbine and/or Aero Derivative Gas Turbine, Gearbox, and other Turbomachinery equipment. • Experience working on General Electric Gas Turbines Fr5,6,7,9 and/or LM2500, LM6000 would be an added advantage. • Having excellent mechanical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered. |
