Houston, TX; on-site/full-time; mid-Senior level Job Responsibilities:
• Design, plan, and provide engineering execution support to wellwork operations post-completion, inclusive of drillouts, remedial workovers, and plug and abandonment scope
• Liaise with Production Engineering to provide cost & scope for opportunity evaluation
• Develop procedures and provide design input to artificial lift systems
• Interface with Operations for rig scheduling, execution support, and troubleshooting
• Liaise with specialist contractors & suppliers for cost and equipment readiness
• Monitor daily progress of wellwork operations, track daily costs, and recommend cost-effective changes where necessary; travel to company designated sites when necessary
• Support wellwork spend forecasting and budget preparation
• Track, analyze, and continually improve wellwork execution efficiency; manage contractor performance; steward Wellview data quality Qualification:
• Bachelor of Science from accredited university in engineering required
• Minimum of 5 years O&G experience; 3 yrs direct wellwork experience (Permian preferred)
• Must be self-motivated and capable of integrating within multi-discipline teams
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to travel to well locations to oversee operations when necessary
• Proficient in MS Office suite (excel, word, powerpoint) and Wellview; Spotfire, PowerBI, or other analytics exposure preferred
