Job Summary
PSEG is looking for Summer 2025 Interns for Renewables & Energy Solutions, an organization that identifies, plans, and implements a portfolio of programs that support New Jersey's Clean Energy Vision. This portfolio includes Energy Efficiency, Electric Vehicles and Solar.
This job involves supporting PSE&Gs Energy Efficiency initiatives, utilizing a broad knowledge of business, analytical or engineering skills acquired through previous course work or on-the-job training. These positions support PSE&G's Clean Energy Future (CEF) initiative by implementing or supporting the many energy efficiency programs outlined in CEF, including Operational Excellence, Energy Efficiency (EE) Engineering, Residential EE, Commercial & Industrial EE, and Planning & Evaluation.
This position will be Hybrid from PSE&G Newark Office with a minimum of two days a week in the office.
Job Responsibilities
Team assignments to be determined post-selection and will include other responsibilities as required. Assignments will include working alongside professionals in the following areas:
• Operational Excellence - Support continuous improvement, process documentation, management reporting and analytics
• Commercial & Industrial Energy Efficiency; Direct Install - Assist with continuous improvement, reporting, and operations. Vehicle will be required for this role.
• Commercial & Industrial Energy Efficiency; Prescriptive & Custom - Assist with research and analysis supporting program development and best practices; Interface with customers for quality assurance/quality control purposes. Vehicle will be required for this role.
• Clean Energy Jobs Program - Assist with process flow mapping, reporting enhancements, technical and operational support
• Residential Bid Bundle; Home Weatherization - Assist with identifying, collecting, and analyzing program participation
• Strategy Team - Assist with analysis of potential opportunities and challenges for future programs
Job Specific Qualifications
Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate(s) must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in accounting, business, political science, data analytics, finance, or similar majors and graduating between December 2025 and May 2028. Students graduating in May/June 2025 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2025. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. Candidates must have completed sophomore-level course work for consideration. Because this position will require traveling to various PSEG locations, a valid driver's license and a safe driving record is required.

All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no medical benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the duration of the summer internship. We are targeting currently enrolled/matriculating students that are able to commute to their designated work location as needed. Housing, transportation, and immigration support will not be provided in association with these positions.
