Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a member of cross-functional project team to oversee the execution of large projects through all phases until construction completion.
• Excellent knowledge of relevant codes, including ASCE, ACI, AISC, AWS, PIP, etc.
• Prepare and complete various structural analysis under senior engineer's guidance, i.e. structure frame and foundation design, steel welding and bolting connections, calculation reports, etc.
• Experience with different design loadings including seismic, static, wind, and temperature.
• Review contractors civil/structural calculations and drawings, including, foundation plans and details, steel drawings and details.
• Review and comment on vendors equipment, technical drawings, schematics, or calculation reports.
• Travel to ALNG plant in Soyo as needed
• Prepare bulk MTOs (material take offs) and detailed BOMs (Bill of Materials).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in civil Structural engineering.
• Five plus years of experience. Experience in the oil, gas, and chemicals industries in EPC phase during design and site construction phase.
• Experience in the following: Staad structural software, Mathcad, Autocad, Smartplant review, NavisWork etc.
