We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team for a Major Grid Connection project in the North Sea.

The role is focussed on the contruction of the Topsides for the Offshore Substations. Construction of the modules is due to start in 2025 and so you will be based primarily at the onshore construction facilities in the Netherlands.

Role Overview

• Coordinate with client representatives and oversee quality control, progress reporting, and health, safety, and environmental control of the EPC contractor.
• Identify risks and opportunities and propose mitigation plans.
• Serve as the main point of contact for construction towards the EPC contractor.
• Collaborate with other disciplines within the team, including utilities, HV equipment, civil works, and more.
• Ensure timely completion and quality of work by reviewing method statements, risk analysis, and procedures.
• Manage staffing plan for client representatives and integrate new hires into the project.
• Communicate effectively with all team members and stakeholders.
• Utilize strong organizational skills to maintain structure and work efficiently in a team setting.
• Quickly learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of project progress and activities.

Skills & Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant working experience, with experience in the offshore sector and topside fabrication.
• Working knowledge of structural and corrosion protection
• Experience with other disciplines such as electrical, instrumentation, telecom, or mechanical
• Education: Engineer (preferably structural).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
