JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide offshore installation manager (OIM) responsibilities for newly deployed floating production unit; responsible for offshore asset readiness for a Floating Production Unit (FPU) to ultimately be deployed within the Black Sea, Türkiye. The role will be key to supporting the FPU O&M Manger to deliver safe, reliable first gas from the facility, inclusive of full resourcing and onboarding of a competent asset organisation, operational readiness and approval to introduce first hydrocarbons to asset.
The Offshore Installation Manager is responsible for the safety, health and welfare of all personnel and plant integrity on the installation, including the deployment and coordination of both operations staff, support staff and contractors. The OIM has the overriding authority and responsibility to avert immediate threats on safety and pollution matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Main duties and responsibilities include;
General
- Leading the offshore organization in realizing safety and operational excellence and delivering upper quartile performance in all areas.
- Planning and controlling the safe and efficient operation of the installation to meet the requirements and criteria set out in the Policies and Procedures, and Regulations & Class rules.
- Inspections and surveys ensuring that they are carried out to meet the requirements of the floating asset Classification society and legislation.
- Customer requirements and contract safety terms and conditions being met.
- Operating to the procedures in the Client Corporate Procedure Manual.
- Reporting safety, health and environmental information and production statistics to management and Governmental Authorities.
- Ensuring that personnel, including contractors, have adequate information to perform tasks and that control measures and precautions are adhered to.
- Overseeing and ensuring that crew meet safety and emergency training requirements and are competent to carry out their duties.
- Investigating and properly reporting any accidents, incidents and non- conformances, and ensuring formal corrective action is taken.
- Routinely monitoring operations to ensure the adequacy of the CMS, recommend improvements.
- An adequate organisation to respond to emergencies is maintained onboard, by means of the use of drills and simulations/exercises.
- Ensuring all persons on the Installation are familiar with the Health, Safety and Environmental policy and its application on the installation.
- Assuming command in an emergency and co-ordinating the onboard emergency response with external agencies and support services.
- Ensuring that maintenance supplies are controlled and those storage areas are safe, especially for hazardous materials.
- The delivery of the 28 and 90 day plan.
- Act as internal verifier within the competence assessment procedure.

- Responsible for the effective operation of the Permit to Work System, ensuring persons appointed to roles within the PTW have undergone the required training and are assessed competent for those positions
Emergency Response Duties
- Assume overall command in all emergency situations
QUALIFICATIONS
- HND in relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Offshore Survival and HUET Certificate.
- Major Emergency Management.
- OIM Assessment.
- A number of years' previous experience in a similar capacity on an offshore production platform or facility.
- Essential knowledge' in relevant platform management of offshore safety, production operations, maintenance, integrity management and deep water drilling operations.
- Knowledge of HSSE management systems and application of HSSE working practices to a high standard.
- Extensive and recent related experience within the international offshore oil & gas industry.
- Business/commercial economics awareness to ensure the platform is run like a business.
- Proven man-management capability, team builder/leader experience, and good written and oral communication skills are also essential.
- Management and interpersonal skills in order to interact with and coordinate the activities of contractors and within own multi-discipline project team.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
- Represent the Company to Contractors and other associates professionally and articulately according to the client's Values.
- Accept accountability and responsibility whilst also engaging and consulting with supervisors, other engineers and team leaders.
- Able to establish an interactive relationship with the contractors / suppliers to establish a positive Company relationship.
- Uphold the client's Business Ethics & Values.
