Join us as a Senior Claims Handler for our Marine & Offshore Energy portfolio. This market-facing role is based mainly in Norway, with exposure to our international marine insurance sector. Key responsibilities
- Assist vessel owners and shipping companies in handling casualties.
- Collaborate with owners to prepare and present claims information.
- Maintain regular dialogue with insurers for timely compensation settlements.
- Provide expertise to brokers and clients on policy wording matters.
- Manage claims log and filings in coordination with the claims and accounts teams.
Qualifications
About you
- Higher relevant education.
- A technical / logistical background from the shipping industry.
- Marine insurance industry experience, including claims handling.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Norwegian.
- Familiarity with MS Office and proprietary production systems.
- Service-oriented and detail-focused.
- Commercially savvy and skilled professional.
- Able to work independently and in a team setting.
