Your role and responsibilities
Manages the marketing and roadmap of both IEC/CENELEC and IEEE ABB's Medium Voltage cable accessories offering throughout its lifecycle, in line with market needs and business line strategy and targets. Accountable for the long-term profitable growth of the product line, supports business results by overseeing each step involved in the offering lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, portfolio rationalization, and profitability. The work model for the role is: Hybrid - Nottingham or Coleshill with 20 - 30% international travel. This role is contributing to the Electrification, Installation Products division serving the UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia markets. Main stakeholders are external market and internal functions (e.g., Sales, Operations, Product Marketing and R&D). You will be mainly accountable for: • Leading the market intelligence analysis and identifying potential gaps in the portfolio, with respect to the competition and new market opportunities. • Owning technical and market specification for the offer and determining an offering business plan that supports sustainable growth while leading customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value, and following-up on portfolio performance. • Leading the offer lifecycle management process, analyzing current offers, defining, and tracking performance metrics, and making decisions on offer obsolescence and end-of life to ensure that current and future market requirements are met to maximize their profitability. • Setting targets, monitoring offering costs and giving inputs to operations functions (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Production) to maximize competitiveness and profitability.

Your role and responsibilities

Qualifications for the role
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in the domain of MV cables and/or MV cable accessories.
- Proven ability to manage and optimize product portfolios effectively.
- Strong skills in developing business strategies and conducting market analysis to drive growth, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
- Demonstrated success in meeting budget and performance targets.
- Experience in new product development, process improvement, and optimization.
