As a Software Test Engineer here at HoneywellSmart Energy & Thermal Solutions (SETS) you will be responsible forensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testingand analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop andexecute test plans, identify and troubleshoot issues, and drive continuousimprovement in our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Your expertise in SQL Server, C# language, and Visual Basic will be instrumental in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and tools.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure product quality and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues and drive resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and tools using SQL Server, C#, Phyton, and Visual Basic.
• Oversee testing activities at contract manufacturing sites, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Deploy and validate test equipment at the different contract manufacturers in USA, Mex or India
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
• May include travel up to 25% to various contract manufacturing sites to oversee testing activities and ensure compliance with quality standard

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 5+ years of experience in advanced test or software development or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, C#, Python, and Visual Basic.

WE VALUE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial automation or a related industry is of value.
• Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and tools.
• Knowledge of Flash JTAG testing methodologies is of value.
• Experience with firmware download and flashing microprocessors
• Experience with Database & Server management
• Experience maintaining Computers and Servers
