Overview
The Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) is the overall responsible party for the platform and its personnel. The OIM also has the overall responsibility for the safety of all personnel onboard, and he/she ensures that all operations onboard are performed in line with all rules and regulations. He/she also ensures that the client's representative is kept informed about all activities and operations on board the platform.

Qualifications
Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 5-10 years' experience; 5-7 years general management experience
Desired: Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of degree; 5+ years offshore operations management experience; experience working with USCG and BSEE regulations

Responsibilities
- To ensure implementation of the Company and/or Client Safety Management System.
- To promote a safety culture where all personnel have an understanding of the Operations Safety Case and operates rigorously in accordance with it.
- To ensure strict implementation of Company and/or Client safe systems of working (SSoW)
- To ensure that all documentation and certification is in order and up to date.
- To facilitate constructive working relationships with all personnel, encouraging open communication, both vertically and laterally.
- To promote team building, training and development and to ensure that the Company and/or Client's competence assurance system (CAS) is progressed.
- To ensure that regular emergency response drills are carried out in compliance with regulations.
- To provide relevant reports to Company, Client and partners as per their requirements
- To promote Danos' Core Values.
- To take command and lead the on board Emergency Response Team (ERT) in the event of an emergency.
- Act as on-scene coordinator in the event of a major incident local to the installation, as requested by applicable Marine Authority.
- Maintain presence to oversee critical operations in any emergency or safety critical situation, as deemed necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
