Your role and responsibilities
As an Administrative and Secretarial Intern, you will provide general administrative support to the organization, particularly to the local management team. Your work will be closely aligned with the administrative support team. This role contributes to ABB Canada's Process Automation, Measurement, and Analytics division and is based at our facility in Québec City. You will report to the Site Manager. The position is 100% on-site, and the schedule can be full-time or part-time (minimum 16 hours per week) depending on your availability. • Assist in preparing, compiling, proofreading, and editing reports, presentations, organizational charts, or other relevant documents. • Prepare internal communications. • Arrange travel bookings for management team members. • Provide support to the administrative team during high workloads or vacation periods, which may include replacing reception duties to welcome and register visitors. • Contribute to the organization of meetings and events. • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications for the role
- Currently enrolled in an administration and/or secretarial studies program.
- Advanced proficiency with computer tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word and PowerPoint).
- Excellent written communication skills in both French and English. French is required. English is also required to communicate with clients outside Québec.
- Strong initiative and interpersonal skills.
- The candidate must have or plan to obtain a Level 2 Security Clearance under the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
