Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the development of the planning and fulfillment-related processes, skills, and tools. Each day, you will support performance improvement, including customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization. The work model for the role is Onsite in Senatobia. You will be mainly accountable for: • Develop and maintain material planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs. • Analyze production schedules, customer demands, and inventory levels to forecast material requirements. • Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials. • Managing NPI strategies and prepare and present regular reports on new material planning. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. • Monitor supplier performance, conduct evaluations, and implement improvement plans as needed. • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to align material planning with operational needs. • Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to address issues and ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in material planning and supplier relationship management.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
