Your role and responsibilities
Purpose of the Job: Join us as a Country Governance Junior Specialist and play a pivotal role in supporting our Country Holder Officer (CHO) and Country Finance Officer (CFM) in uphold-ing the highest standards of governance, internal controls, integrity, and compliance. You will be instrumental in executing an ambitious plan to enhance corporate governance and operational adherence to ABB's Licence-to-operate. This versatile role demands a curious, ethical individual with a strong financial and audit acumen, ready to engage with diverse internal stakeholders both domestically and internationally. If you are eager to develop your skills in corporate governance, risk management, and finance while supporting C-level leadership, embrace this challenge with an open, dynamic, and ready-to-learn mindset. Main Accountabilities: Fiduciary and compliance: o Support CHO with Country Fiduciary Governance Framework o Support Fiduciary monitoring at country level o Inspect control points and country level controls with the support from country ARIC manager o Edit and contribute to the publication of the CHO NewsLetter Project Based Initiatives: o Support PMO to set up the project governance framework in country o Work closely with country and business area's function leads to set-up relevant country activi-ties, report on the status and the next actions Financial Planning and Analysis: o Coordinate Country Holding Officer cost centers analysis, planning and forecasting o Coordinate regular statutory financial statements reviews with relevant stakeholders o Facilitate budgeting and forecasting process by communicating guidelines, timetables and templates Travel & Expenses Point of Contact o Serve as the local point of contact for Travel & Expenses tools and service provider, including fleet management and other related administrative tasks.

Qualifications for the role
- Professional Experience: 3-5 years of prior experience or exposure in fiduciary ser-vices, Big4 audit firm, or risk management. Experience with a leading audit firm (Tier 1 or Tier 2) is advantageous.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of understanding of compliance, internal controls, fiduciary laws and principles, as well as Integrity and Business ethics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP ERP systems, MS PowerPoint, PowerBI, SAP HANA, and advanced Excel skills.
- Diligence: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated resilience and ability to thrive in a dynamic, demanding environment, handling ambiguity and pressure with ease.
- Initiative-taking Planning: Ability to anticipate needs, prioritize tasks, and plan activi-ties efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Japanese, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders, demonstrating strong teamwork skills.
