Should you find motivation in developing Software solutions, possess experience in Software Development, and enjoy taking full responsibility for significant functionalities within wind turbine systems from development to life-cycle management, then it's possible you are who we're searching for. The Turbine Control Software Module is responsible for delivering embedded control applications for turbines.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will cover:
  • Collaborate closely with software developers in the team and with the stakeholders in your functional area and participate in full project lifecycles using Agile practices for the software development
  • Be engaged during the functional and software requirements definition of the turbine's control systems
  • Be committed in writing and updating comprehensive technical documentation and maintain software functionality, and responsible for developing and maintaining our control systems for the various hardware components of the turbine
  • Be developing high-quality software in an engaging and complex domain and have full life-cycle ownership of the functionalities you produce, therefore you will be involved in new product development but also in dealing with fleet and performance issues
  • Engage in root cause analysis to identify potential turbine performance issues and be a significant contributor to the continuous improvement of our processes, software, and tools
  • You will be responsible for verification of the solution on all levels, including software tests (in-house) and field verification
  • You will be also responsible for documenting and presenting your work in a precise way to your internal and external stakeholders


Qualifications
  • 8+ years of working experience with software development
  • Extensive development experience with modern C++
  • Object oriented & state-based software design
  • Software architecture and design patterns - Beyond basic principles, you should have a deep understanding of design pattern, when to use them and which pattern to avoid
  • Experience in real time embedded systems in the machine control domain, Hands-on experience with product or technology development, and Experience with SCRUM and Agile Development
  • Understanding of Continuous integration solutions with e.g. Git, Jenkins, Atlassian suite
  • Education Qualification: B. Tech / B.E / MTech / ME - CSE, ECE, EEE
