Korte omschrijving

In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het waarborgen van de technische beschikbaarheid en betrouwbaarheid van schepen door toezicht te houden op onderhouds- en reparatiewerkzaamheden, het aansturen van teamleden en het afstemmen met diverse belanghebbenden om optimale operationele efficiëntie te bereiken. Functie omschrijving

Toezicht op onderhoud:

• Ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van periodieke en jaarlijkse onderhoudsplannen voor schepen, installaties en gebouwen aan land.
• Analyseren van onderhoudsgeschiedenis en prioriteren van taken op basis van operationele vereisten.
• Coördineren met externe aannemers en ervoor zorgen dat de specificaties worden nageleefd.

Teamleiderschap:

• Functioneel en technisch leiding geven aan de bemannings- en onderhoudsteams (tot 15 leden).
• Begeleid, coach en train medewerkers waar nodig.
• Pak prestatieproblemen aan en stimuleer de ontwikkeling van werknemers.

Projectcoördinatie:

• Toezicht houden op onderhoudsprojecten, zorgen voor tijdige en effectieve uitvoering.
• Vergemakkelijken van inspecties, certificeringen en naleving van veiligheids- en operationele normen.
• Rapporteren van voortgang, problemen en voltooide taken aan het Hoofd Technische Dienst.

Technische problemen oplossen:

• Optreden als aanspreekpunt voor het oplossen van problemen en het oplossen van technische storingen.
• Verbeteringsvoorstellen implementeren om de onderhoudsprocessen te verbeteren.

Naleving en documentatie:

• Zorg voor naleving van bedrijfsvoorschriften, veiligheidsprotocollen en industrienormen.
• Bijhouden van uitgebreide projectdocumentatie, waaronder werkrapporten en technische specificaties.

Functie vereisten

• Je woont op Texel of bent bereid je daar te vestigen.
• Vloeiend in Nederlands en Engels (in woord en geschrift).
• Uitgebreide kennis van scheepstechniek, onderhoudsmethoden en technische systemen.
• Sterke leidinggevende en team management vaardigheden.
• Analytisch denkvermogen en probleemoplossend vermogen.
• Vermogen om effectief te coördineren met interne teams en externe aannemers.
• Vaardigheid in onderhoudsplanningsystemen en rapportagetools.
• Toewijding aan veiligheid en naleving van regelgeving.
• Vanwege de locatie van de functie is een geldig EU-burgerschap, Nederlands staatsburgerschap of werkvisum verplicht.

Positie in de organisatie:

• De Superintendent rapporteert rechtstreeks aan het Hoofd Technische Dienst en werkt samen met leiders van operationele en technische afdelingen, kapiteins en externe dienstverleners. De functie omvat functioneel beheer van technische bemanningsleden en hiërarchisch toezicht op onderhoudspersoneel.

Werkomgeving:

• Voor deze functie kan het nodig zijn om onder moeilijke omstandigheden te werken, waaronder blootstelling aan lawaai, hitte en besloten ruimtes. Af en toe zwaar tillen en werken onder tijdsdruk worden verwacht, met name tijdens noodreparaties en doktijden.
