About the vacancy

As a Project Managerat Newcold, you will be a member of our team committed to advancing globalenergy initiatives. Your role will focus on three main areas: concept design ofrenewable energy integration, contractor selection and contract negotiations,and the preparation of business cases and capital expenditure requests,culminating in the management of the implementation process. Utilizing yourknowledge of renewable energy technologies, you will contribute to the designand setup of our energy parks, guiding decision-making processes across variousprojects.

In this position, youwill oversee the development and execution of renewable energy projects,ensuring they align with our strategic objectives. You will lead theintegration of renewable energy solutions, select and negotiate withcontractors, and manage project implementation from inception to completion.Your responsibilities include preparing comprehensive business cases andcapital expenditure requests to support project funding and resourceallocation.

What will you do?

• Develop and conceptualize designs for integrating renewable energy technologies into existing and new infrastructures.
• Lead the selection and negotiation processes with contractors and vendors for renewable energy projects.
• Prepare comprehensive business cases and capital expenditure requests to support project funding and resource allocation.
• Oversee the implementation of renewable energy projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.
• Stayupdated on industry advancements and contribute insights to company strategiesto maintain a competitive edge.

Who are we looking for?

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management or Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.
• Mandatory deep knowledge of principles, practices and theories within the field of Electrical Engineering.
• +5 years experience in Project Management of renewable energy projects.
• Experiencein selecting contractors, negotiating contracts, and managing relationshipswith vendors and stakeholders.
• Proficiencyin preparing business cases, capital expenditure requests, budgeting, andfinancial forecasting for large-scale projects.
• Experiencewith the design, setup, and implementation of energy parks or similarlarge-scale renewable energy installations.
• Familiaritywith current market trends, technological advancements, and innovations in therenewable energy and sustainability sectors.
• Ability to prioritize and high level of organizational skills.
• Strong intercultural communication skills.
• Highly proficient in English, any other European language is a plus
