Sr Advanced Project Engineer

Aerospace Software V&V

Sr Advanced Project Engineer will be responsible for leading and overseeing advanced projects within the Systems Verification and Validation (SVV) team for Integrated Flight Systems. He/she will be responsible for meeting Cost, Schedule and quality commitments with the required quality. He/She will be responsible for project management, technical leadership, and systems engineering and instrumental in driving innovation and delivering high-quality solutions. This position will be based out of HTS Hyderabad.

Responsibility: The primary accountability for this role includes, but not limited to

• Responsible for meeting Cost, Schedule commitments with the required quality for the Integrated Flight System V&V Programs

• Responsible for working closely with both internal and external stakeholders (Product COE, PI, TOOLS, CERT), influencing them and drive upstream connectivity and change define comprehensive test plans, acceptance criteria, and validation protocols

• Responsible to Identify, prioritize and deploy key improvement strategies/initiatives (e.g. Test design Automation, Test execution Automation, Model based Test development) across programs to drive improvements (Productivity and Cycle Time) in line with the Software V&V COE SDP priorities.

• Responsible for providing significant impact on business success by ensuring the successful execution of complex engineering projects

• Be part of Org initiatives and contribute to strategy deployment.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, science or equivalent.
• 10+ years' experience in aerospace software/systems verification, preferably having experience in Aerospace Flight System products/programs.
• Strong technical skills with emphasis in the areas of software development and verification processes, certification, and DO-178 design assurance guidelines.
• Previous experience in C++, Vector Cast, Lauterbach, VB Script, Python, LDRA, ABCSCAT
• Understanding of embedded system architecture with deeper understanding of IFS software product
• Excellent program execution skills, demonstrates responsiveness to customers / stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of agile, will be an added advantage.
• Experience across products in Software Development and Verification
• Experience with preparation and execution of project plans, schedules, cost estimates, baseline change management, risk mitigation, technical design reviews, management reviews, customer coordination meetings, cost/schedule/status reporting.
• Self-initiative to reach out to team and form effective working relationships.
• Experience in driving change through an organization
• Strong communication skills, Green belt and/or DFSS certified
