Halff has a firmwide position open for a Technical Leader for Water Quality and Advanced Water Treatment. The successful candidate should be community-minded with the capacity to lead, mentor, and inspire project professionals to resolve complex problems. This position requires strong design experience and technical background working with communities, public utilities and regional governments. In addition to supporting project delivery, candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage personnel and client interaction. Technical Leaders are expected to be active in their profession and contribute to developing the careers of our employees. The successful candidate will engage in business development and assist all levels of our Water Solutions teams with client development and business branding. Halff's water and wastewater practice is primed for growth and we are looking for someone to help lead the way in growing this capability.

Requirements:
- PE license in state of residence. Multiple state licenses are a plus
- Doctor of Philosophy or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
- 10+ years of experience to supporting Water/Wastewater projects including facility modeling, process design, planning, and construction administration.
- Industry recognition as a Subject Mater Expert (SME) in the areas of water treatment and water quality.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability and willingness to present at industry conferences and at focused client presentations
- Experience analyzing and solving complex problems in the areas of water treatment and emerging contaminants.
- A team player with a focus on quality, integrity and success.
