Job Description

Tri Delta Summer Internship Program - Summer 2025 | Apply today for a paid summer internship opportunity with ALSAC! As an Intern you will learn from experts who have helped us become one of America's top healthcare charities while supporting the life-saving mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

During this experience you'll become an integral part of our team by generating ideas, developing strategies, and finding solutions to help raise funds and awareness for children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases. You can also take advantage of professional development opportunities, build your resume and create memories of a lifetime while making a difference in the lives of others. Additionally, ALSAC hosts thousands of fundraising events across the country every year, and we're tasked with making each one a memorable and fun experience for the hundreds of donors and supporters who attend. With more than 35 regional offices located in U.S. major markets, we bring the mission of St. Jude to local communities. During your internship, you will get hands-on experience working with our amazing team on events such as the 2025 St. Jude Tri Delta Celebration and St. Jude NextGen Experience, both geared towards strengthening our pipeline for individuals like you, our amazing next generation of supporters!

About the Internship:

  • This in-person summer internship opportunity is for collegiate members of Tri Delta Fraternity only.

  • This is 10-week obligation that begins Monday, June 2nd and ends Friday, August 8th, 2025.

  • Interns are required to relocate to Memphis for the summer and remain for the duration of the internship. ALSAC will be responsible for securing your lodging accommodations at no charge to you.

  • Intern candidates that meet the minimum requirements will receive information from our hiring team according to our application timeline below. Applicants who do not meet the requirements will receive an email of regret from our hiring team.

Internship Program Requirements:

  • A passion for our mission!

  • Must be a current member of Tri Delta Fraternity in good standing.

  • Must be actively enrolled, and in good standing, in an accredited college or university, as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student, upon date of hire and for the duration of the 10-week program, ending on August 8th.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Must be a high character individual with a strong value system that is reflected both in person and across social media platforms.

  • Candidates must be able to always demonstrate professionalism.

  • Candidates are required to maintain confidentiality and integrity when effectively managing internal and external relationships.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

  • Must be available during standard work hours (9a - 5p) within the United States for the entire 10-week internship, we do not accept students studying abroad at any time between June 2nd - August 8th, 2025.

  • January 31, 2025: Application closes

  • February 5, 2025: All applicants moving forward will receive an invitation to complete a HireVue.

  • February 14, 2025: All applicants moving forward will receive an email from LaTonya Matheney, Director of NextGen programs, to schedule a Zoom interview.

  • March 3- 7, 2025: Zoom Interviews

  • March 10, 2025: Final three (3) candidates chosen. Our ALSAC Internship team will reach out to final candidates within 3 days to make an official offer.

Specific Internship Description and Preferred Skills:

This internship invites collegiate Tri Delta Members to work closely with our Next Generation Engagement team to create and execute impactful strategies. Our goal is to acquire and cultivate the next generation of St. Jude supporters through the implementation of new and existing programs, platforms and campaigns targeting audiences from pre-school through young adulthood.

NextGen Team Vision: To ensure every generation has an introduction to, an experience with and a clear understanding of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

NextGen Team Mission: Your Passion, Our Mission: To attract the next generation of St. Jude supporters by providing engaging fundraising activations that harness the passions of our diverse audience in a genuine way. We create fun and meaningful activations that ignite a lifelong affinity in the next generation of St. Jude supporters.

Projects include but not limited to:

  • Support national youth programs and partnerships through the production of internal and external collateral, including print, digital and other interactive media elements.

  • Help meet programmatic recruitment and revenue goals by identifying opportunities to reach new audiences and acquire donors in innovative ways.

  • Assist with influencer-driven fundraising development to meet the next generations where they are.

  • Assist with reporting, analyzing data and assisting in developing and executing strategic marketing plans.

  • Help ideate strategic communication plans that leverages new and existing relationships, platforms, and technologies to drive fundraising and awareness for next generation programs and campaigns.
