What are you going to do

The Senior Tyre Fitter Specialist will be responsible for the following:

• Performing tyre repairs and maintenance on mining equipment, including heavy-duty trucks, loaders, and dozers
• Conducting tyre inspections to identify potential issues and recommending appropriate corrective action
• Maintaining accurate records of all tyre repairs and replacements
• Adhering to all safety procedures and ensuring all work is carried out in a safe manner
• Providing training and guidance to junior tyre fitters

Essential skills and knowledge

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Relevant Tyre Fitter Qualification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tyre fitting in the mining industry
• Experience with tyre fitting on large mining equipment, including heavy-duty trucks, loaders, and dozers
• Strong knowledge of tyre safety procedures and practices
• Ability to work in a FIFO environment and remote locations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
