Main Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Job Role
Develops and submits a yearly territory and marketing plan to the EPG/Industrial Sales Manager.
Calls on the Engineering community providing technical guidance and support, specification and design assistance for the Ring Power and Caterpillar Electric Power business. This support should include the development of technical and marketing presentations to present to individuals and group presentations for the purpose of new product updates and product improvements. These functions would include the resources of the Caterpillar factory and field personnel whenever deemed necessary.

Stays current on all technology associated with products and markets and ensures proper coverage of sales territory while keeping management informed of important sales activity.
Timely reporting of sales opportunities and field conditions. Tracks all activities and jobs developing utilizing the company's CRM system.
Continued pursuit of personal and professional growth and development within industry. Maintains a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times.
Performs regular "cold calls" on new customers in order to expand the existing customer base.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Formal Education Associate Degree or certification equivalent in a related field of study
Experience 3-4 years
Required / Credentials
Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
Associate degree or certification equivalent in a related field of study related to electrical or mechanical engineering.
Class E drivers license.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point and AutoCad.
Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria
Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Marketing or Business Degree from a four-year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred.
Prior experience in delivering presentations to groups of people.
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and their applications to the industry.
Updating of Knowledge
Job requirements change requiring re-training to stay current every 1-2 years.
